Your boss gives you a project you’ve been looking forward to for a long time. You salivate as the file gets handed over to you. You dream a bit after the boss leaves, illusions of a new office, new promotion or you may simply just enjoy the thrill of a new project and are happy at that. You open the file, peruse its contents and get to work. This is going to be great… For whatever reason – and it’s different for each of us – you get stuck. You’ve lost your fire for the project and there appears to be nowhere to go. Now What? Over at Lifehack.org there is a great post called the Sticking Point. I encourage everyone to check this out because inevitably it will happen. How you choose to respond is the key and this post gives some great pointers.
